Set within a new location, players are once again set to contend with Freddy and his robot pals. Set within the sprawling Mega Plex, Security Breach aims to be the biggest location so far in FNAF's history.  Speaking exclusively on the PlayStation Blog  Co-Founder/Creative Director, Steel Wool Studios - Jason Topolski had the following to say: “Since its launch in 2014, Five Nights at Freddy’s has grown at an exponential rate, gaining a unique following as a “horrific” cult-classic. Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is no longer limited to small pizzerias, as they have now opened the Mega Pizza Plex in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach. Security Breach is by far the most ambitious Five Nights at Freddy’s game yet!

Video Game Review - Override 2: Super Mech League

Rob Lake reviews Override 2: Super Mech League on Xbox One... As any fan of Power Rangers , Transformers and even Pacific Rim will know: giant robots beating the scrap out of each other is awesome. The ability to control these towering mechanical beasts as they lay waste to their enemies with various weapons and flashy anime-inspired moves is pretty much every boy's dream. With this in mind Override 2: Super Mech League should tick so many boxes, but does it?... Override 2 is a big departure from its predecessor. The planet defending storyline has all but vanished, as has the unique control scheme. In its place, however, is a generic brawler that feels anything but refined.  The setup for Override 2 is very much like a brawler. You choose your mech out of a pool of 20 and then battle your opponent throughout a closed-off arena. The quirky controls of the original Override are now gone, and in their place is your more traditional brawler controls. With various ligh

Video Game Review: Dry Drowning - Nintendo Switch

Rob Lake reviews Dry Drowning on Nintendo Switch... Dry Drowning   is a psychological visual novel set within a dystopian futuristic city. You play Private Detective, Mordred Foley, who's investigating a series of murders whilst being haunted by his past.  I've played my fair share of visual novels this past year, some have been good but the majority (in my opinion) has been a bit of a miss. Dry Drowning is the former. Visual novels normally follow a linear path of chat-based dialogue with the odd player-based choice thrown in. Dry Drowning mixes the formula by not only giving you multiple people to talk to, but you can also explore the surroundings, for both clues related to the overarching case as well as potentially unlocking other endings. These investigative portions are performed via the AquaOS which is an in-game device that collects all of your documents and discovered evidence though the story.  Dry Drowning also blurs the line when it comes t

Comic Book Review - Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Faith #1

Rob Lake reviews Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Faith #1... As one of the more popular Buffyverse characters, Faith is the one character we don't know an awful lot about. That's soon about to change as BOOM! Studios are giving us a one-shot that will explore the Slayers pre-Sunnydale past. Seasoned Buffy writer Jeremy Lambert is at the helm for this one-shot, and for the most, he gives us an entertaining story. Fans of the TV show will know a bit about Faith already, but Lambert gives us a slightly different side to the rogue Slayer - yet she's still that ever so recognisable. The initial introduction is a bit of a misdirection, but as this opening issue develops, the more familiar traits of the character start to come through. There's also a much larger plot at play through the issue, that for the moment seems to have much wider implications for the Buffyverse, than just to serve as Faith's introduction.  Lambert kicks off this one-shot by introducing us

Comic Book Review - Something is Killing the Children #15

Rob Lake reviews Something is Killing the Children #15... Closure is the name of the game in Something is Killing the Children #15. The monsters brood has been killed and the town is finally safe. While life in the town returns to normal, what will become of it's inhabitants? As the town reels from the shocking events of the past few months they do so in silence. It's a hard sell but the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.  With her work done what's next for Erica Slaughter? The Order of St John want her back in the fold due to being the last remaining black mask left. Naturally due to the events of Archer's Peak, Erica has turned her back on The Order, and she heads off in search of other perils.  Well for now we don't actually know. BOOM! Studios have already teased that a new arc is starting up

Comic Book Review - 2000 AD Prog 2220: Regened

Rob Lake reviews 2000 AD Prog 2220... Tharg is taking a break this week as he hands the reigns over to his nephew Jojo-Jargo. Yes, we're heading into the first Regened Prog of 2021 as the all-ages series continues to appeal to the younger comic book reader.  The Regened Progs get a lot of flack from the more mature 2000 AD readers. However this Regened is actually pretty good (they've all been good, but this one is probably the best), so whilst some of you may be on the Regened fence, hopefully Prog 2220 changes your mind... Cadet Dredd: Suboptimal It wouldn't be a Prog if we didn't take a trip to Mega-City 1. We're back with another tale from Dredd's cadet days and the young Lawman is on the case of missing Juve, Tommy Prinn. Dredds accompanied by Tek-Judge Cadet Quinn as the duo stumble upon the Opti-Mall - a underground mall run by Mek's.  I normally enjoy the Cadet Dredd tales and this ones no different. What makes Suboptimal is that the inc

CHIZURU KAGURA Chizuru Kagura is a descendant of the Yata clan, one of three powerful clans entrusted with the Sacred Treasures capable of sealing away “Gaia’s Will”, otherwise known as Orochi. Her fighting style resembles traditional Japanese dancing, while her access to the Kagura Style of Ancient Martial Arts allows her to seal away her opponent’s abilities. She convinces heirs of the other two clans, Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami, to once again join forces and enter the latest KOF in the hopes of revealing the powers behind the appearance of the being known as V

Steve MacManus talks to us about all things BLAZER!

Rob Lake chats to Steve MacManus about BLAZER!... After an incredibly successful Kickstarter campaign, Steve MacManus ' Blazer! smashed it's modest £1,974 target by raising a whopping £8,866 and was backed by 401 backers - myself included.  The 32-page publication is currently being billed as a one-shot that is a satirical homage to the golden age of comics.  Blazer! is currently set to be published on 1st April 1974...   So what exactly is  Blazer! ? Well anyone who's read  MacManus ' fictional tale -   The Sheerglam Conspiracy  would have heard the  Blazer!  name before.  Blazer!  was a fictional 1970's comic book that was set to be launched by one of the comic companies featured in  The Sheerglam Conspiracy . During the novel,  MacManus  fully described how this comic would look and even what strips would appear inside of it. Naturally, this leads to curiosity and with help from The77 publisher -  Ben Cullis, Steve MacManus  is bringing  Blazer!  to l

Video Game Review - Endurance - Space Action

Rob Lake reviews Endurance - Space Action on Xbox One... Developed by solo developer Ivan Pansenko and published by EpiXR Games   Endurance - Space Action is a pixel-art top-down shooter mixed with an RPG/Rogue-Lite element. Endurance - Space Action is the sequel/prequel to Pansenko's previous game - Ailment . Regretfully I've neither heard of nor played Ailment so I can't compare, but after playing Endurance, Ailmen t is next on my list.  The story takes place on a space-based laboratory spaceship. The game opens with a montage of the abandoned ship, with a message stating that the entire crew are dead. You're then taken back to disaster day-3 to experience what caused the deaths of the crew. You take control of a character named Sam who's caught up in all what's going on onboard the sprawling spacecraft. To begin with, you can select from various versions of Sam, which range from cosmetic looks to various stats. Once you've settled on a loo
