Join me as I give you a glimpse into island life. Little Friends: Puppy Island is the new adventure game in the ‘Little Friends’ series from developer Big Blue Bubble and has been published by Fireshine Games.   Once you’ve loaded into the game, your soon asked to dog-sit by your best friend; Sam. It’s not all plain sailing as while Sam is away on vacation you’ll get roped into rejuvenating the island and making it the go-to for pet owners - and their pets. To help achieve the goal for the island, your soon given a pet of your own - a Husky. You’ll get to chose its name, and then it’s off to see what tasks Sam has in store, who instructs you via text message. Rob reviews Replikator on Nintendo Switch… Replikator is a title that’s worthy to call itself a rogue-like. It’s a punishing game that’ll have you roaming around procedurally generated space stations, fighting all manner of nasty enemies, and avoiding insidious traps. Whether you head into the gauntlet cautiously, or throw this caution to the wind, one things a certainty - you will die…a lot!  Developed by R-Games and Maridian4, with publishing falling to indie game powerhouse, Ratalika Games , Replikator isn’t a game that’ll change the formula for rogue-likes yet to come. But, it doesn’t really need to. Instead it’s a simple rogue-like that builds upon the solid foundations that have already been laid by its forbearers.  Taking place in the future, Replikator places you into the boots of a mercenary who finds themselves up against a rogue AI. Ellie Woodcock reviews NUTS on the Nintendo Switch... NUTS  is a mystery simulation game that's been developed by a small team of remote developers in collaboration with Noodle Cake. Joon, Pol, Muuutsch, Char & Torfi have created a game with no crunch involvement - which is a big issue within the video game industry at the moment. The team are also based remotely in Berlin, Reykjavik, Montreal and Copenhagen which you can imagine isn't ideal when creating a video game. Thankfully NUTS comes together in a unique and interesting way. It's also an incredibe achievement by such a small team and NUTS is testerment to their commitment.  NUTS  centres on the strange goings on inside Melmoth Forest as your tasked in finding out what Squirrels get up to when no- one is watching.
