Comic Book Review - Complete Darkness #1 & #2

What waits for us in the dark? Jumping straight out of the pages to Matt Adcock’s novel of the same name, Complete Darkness tells a story about the accidental mapping of Hell - and what comes with it.  Taking place within the city of London 2, in the year of 2242, scientists have been attempting to map the elusive dark matter particle. Upon finally succeeding, these scientists soon discover - much to their horror - that they’ve discovered the realms of Hell and that it’s all around us. However, in looking inwards, the Devil is able to look out and as such the demon has decided to lay waste to humanity. Yet in his own hubris, the Devil has granted supernatural powers to an ordinary human. Now with the power to fight back against their extinction, humanity’s fate rests on the shoulders of Cleric 20.  Matt Adcock kicks issue #1 off by setting the stage and introducing us to the movers and shakers of the Complete Darkness chess board. A lot of the issue deals with our protagonist Cleric 20

The death of his beloved grandfather has hit the family hard and Max particularly is having a tough time with the sudden bereavement. Not only this but Max doesn’t get on with his abusive stepfather, he’s the subject of taunting from a few high school bullies, and his girlfriend is breaking up with him and moving to another town. Video Game Review - Life of Delta

Rob reviews Life of Delta on PlayStation 5… Point and click adventure titles aren’t that common when it comes to the current console generation. Gone are the genres heyday with the likes of Monkey Island, and Broken Sword wowing with their simplistic gameplay, and engrossing storytelling. In-fact I can’t think of the last time I played an old fashioned point and click. Enter Life of Delta, a charming 2D point-and-click adventure that’s packed full of charming visuals, all wrapped up in a post apocalyptic sci-fi tale. Life of Delta tells its story way into the future where humanity has become extinct and a race of bipedal lizards rule what’s left of planet Earth. You play the role of Delta, a pint-sized service robot that’s coming to the end of its lifespan. Set for decommission by being dissolved in a vat of acid, Delta is spared from its fate by a fellow droid called Joe. No sooner has Joe saved Delta’s life, he’s then taken away by the lizard people to a military base on the other si

Video Game Review - Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop: Official School Bus Extension

Rob reviews Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop: Official School Bus Extension… When it comes to simulations of every-day life, gamers have quite the choice. From being a house flipper, pilot, or even a Snowcat driver, there’s plenty of games that attempt to give you a slice of that average Joe experience. For developers Stillalive Studios, their attention has been focused on the role of the humble bus driver. In Bus Simulator 21 you’ll take to the streets in an attempt to build a profitable business, while tackling all the trials and tribulations of public transport. While the base game already has a wealth of content, the developers have expanded it with a range of downloadable content.  The latest content expands the experience further and introduces schools to your chosen city. As the one-stop company for bus journeys it’s up to you to shuttle the cities children to and from school. While this DLC doesn’t shake things up too much, it’s a superb distraction from the base games activities.  T
