Video Game Review - Endzone: A World Apart - Survivor Edition

Rob reviews Endzone: A World Apart - Survivor Edition on Xbox Series X... Endzone   is a city builder come survival game that tasks players with "cancelling the Apocalypse". Originally debuting on PC back in 2021, developer Gentlymad Studios have now brought Endzone onto consoles.  Following a global nuclear disaster, the Earth was rendered an inhabitable wasteland, and humanity teetered on the edge of being wiped out. Now hundreds of years later, with background radiation being at a (sort of) tolerable level, what's left of humanity looks to reclaim the ravaged planet. With a scarce amount of resources at hand, can you lead humanity to prosper once again? Rebuilding humanity isn't an easy task and as such the game features an incredibly robust tutorial. As tutorials go, the one here almost feels like a game in its own right as you're shown everything that the game has to offer - no matter how minute. From learning how to harvest and process materials,

Flexi-Chair BS1B BackSupport Office Chair - Review

Rob checks out the Flexi-Chair BS1B BackSupport Office Chair... Those of you who know me personally will know that the majority of my days consist of either sitting on a rickety stool at work or sitting hunched up on my floor at home (it's how I like to game!). In all honesty, both options aren't brilliant and as such I'm probably doing my back some (as of yet) unseen damage. With good lumbar support being more of a workplace health and safety focus, you can't forget about those of us who work - or game - at home.  With comfort and flexibility being key in any working environment, the good folks over at Flexispot have developed the Flexi-Chair BS1B. This office chair not only offers various degrees of comfort through its adjustable backrest and seat cushion, but it also features a very stylish and ergonomic design. While the BS1B isn't going to win against the more gamer-tailored chairs - it's a pretty good choice for those of us who work and game fr

Comic Book Review - 2000 AD Prog #2291

Rob reviews 2000 AD Prog #2291... With the heat wave now over, and the UK government still untangling the mess its in, Tharg is back to take us on another trip into the Thrillverse. Joining last week's fab four is the welcome return of Gordon Rennie and Simon Colby with another outing for Jaegir . And speaking of Jaegir  - doesn't that Cliff Robertson cover look amazing!  Judge Dredd: Special Relationship - Part 3 Brit-Cit have taken over the Atlantis rebuild, and Ol' Dredd isn't having any of it. As political tensions between Mega-City One and Brit-Cit rise, Dredd is deep under the Black Atlantic with a small team of Judges.  With the story being told out of sequence, it's playing out like HBO's current series of Westworld. So many questions!  Rob Williams delivers another fine outing as we get more scheming, and nefarious plots. Who is Modric? And is he part of "Circus"? Or could he be in bed with the Sov's? Well I guess we'll ju

Comic Book Review - Power Rangers #21

Rob reviews Power Rangers #21... The Rangers are well and truly on the path to that landmark #100th issue. With Ryan Parrott teasing that issue #100 won't leave a dry eye in the house. What does he have in store?  Well, right now we're still thick into the build-up and as such it's another "normal" day in the office for the Omega Rangers. After Andros interrogated the captured Xurix in the last issue, XI has discovered the location of the Astro Megaship - which just so happens to be deep within Xurix-held territory. With the Xurix interested in the contents of a locked room, and with Darkonda on his way to collect said content - time is running out.  As such Andros intends to infiltrate the Astro Megaship on his own as some kind of penance for his past failings. Yet, in true Ranager fashion, Jason convinces the Red Astro Ranger to allow himself, Yale, Trini, and Zack to tag along. What follows is a VERY interesting set of events that not only introduc

Comic Book Review - 2000 AD Prog 2290

Rob reviews 2000 AD Prog 2290... As the UK bakes within an unnaturally hot heatwave, and its government destroys itself from within, Tharg is back with another dose of light relief from the pressures of everyday life.  This week there's a slight change as we only have four strips to contend with. However, that does mean we get a double helping of Dexter - which to be fair is worth it considering that this week's episode is full-on action. Anyway, joining Dex is more lashings of Judge Dredd: Special Relationship, Skip Tracer: Valhalla , and Brink: Mercury Retrograde.  Judge Dredd: Special Relationship - Part 2 Rob Williams continues to build the tension as things escalate between Mega-City One and Brit-Cit. It's all about rebuilding the destroyed Atlantic Tunnel as both parties argue over who's to foot the bill. With Chief Judge Logan claiming it should be a 50/50 split, Brit-Cit's Chief Judge Eddings claims that MC-1 should pay it all due to Dredd and Ma
