Rob reviews Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II #1... It's hard to believe that it's been three years since Ryan Parrott first treated us to a team-up for the ages. Across the 5-issue mini-series, the Ranger and Turtle worlds collided as Tommy went missing, and Shredder ended up with the power of the Dragon Coin. And that's before the Turtles became Power Rangers themselves!  The original mini-series was a stunning piece of work. Parrott tapped into the highs of both franchises to create a rollercoaster thrill ride that started at 10 and didn't cool down. It had everything that a Power Rangers  and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan would want in a team-up between the two heavyweights. Now back with a sequel it also begs the question of whether  Ryan Parrott can top the previous installment. IDW announces Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Saturday Morning Adventures... IDW have announced that they are taking us back to the 90s with their reboot comic of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series. Coming this September writer Erik Burnham and artist Tim Lattie will be embracing the retro vibe of the classic cartoon with the new limited series  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Saturday Morning Adventures . “I’m no stranger to writing the TMNT for IDW, but this is different,” says Burnham . “The version of the Turtles that exploded onto TV screens in 1987 was the version that I first met, and it brought me a lot of joy…and getting to play in this particular corner of the sandbox has built upon that joy!
