"A cunning new warrior in a race against time approaches the island"
A couple of weeks back Fortnite developer Epic Games announced what to expect in February for subscribers to the Fortnite Crew service. After the lacklustre launch of the Fortnite Crew, Epic recently attempted to ease players minds by revealing their future plans for the service. With this news, subscribers got a free emote and a not so subtle hint as to who was coming to the island next.
Fast forward to last week and a string of tweets from the main Fortnite Twitter account revealed who the mysterious new character was. Vi, who's being described as the "Fox Clans last hope" will be available to new and current Fortnite Crew subscribers from 1st February.
In addition to the Vi outfit, subscribers will also receive her Foxbow Quiver back bling, and her Crooked Claw pickaxe. These new items come in both a cool pink and blue style. Wrapping up the Vi cosmetic collection is an exclusive loading screen that features the Fox Clan member, and a Drift Shift wrap!
Of course, the main draw to the Fortnite Crew subscription is you also receive the current Battle Pass and 1000 V-Bucks each month. Whilst at the moment this doesn't seem worth the £9.99 that Epic is asking for each month, the developer has promised to bring more to the service throughout 2021.
