Retro FPS Project Warlock To Receive Limited Run Physical Release
Retro-inspired first-person shooter Project Warlock gets a physical release next week...
Super Rare Games have announced today that they have partnered up with Buckshot Software and Crunching Koalas to release Project Warlock as a physical release for the first time on the Nintendo Switch.
Following tradition Super Rare Games are including all game content on the cartridge, a full colour instruction manual, interior box artwork, and three trading cards randomly selected from a five-card set. As an added bonus, if you buy Project Warlock it will be shipped soon after going on sale!
Project Warlock is a first-person shooter that should appeal to both fans of DOOM and Wolfenstien alike. The game sees you battling through 60-levels of action, with environments filled with giant Robots and fiendish demon hordes to test your mettle against.
In Project Warlock you take on the role of a Warlock who's been tasked with a dangerous mission to eradicate this evil presence. Levels include exploring frozen Artic bases to medieval castles and even the depths of Hell itself. The action also comes thick and fast as towering Robots and tonnes of Demons stand in your way. Each world also features a colossal boss battle that needs to be beaten to progress to the next world.
The Warlock also has a vast array of weapons at their disposal. These weapons range from powerful blades and massive guns. With over 38 types of weapons available there's literally something to suit any playthrough. The Warlock can also be upgraded via assigning various skill points and developing and upgrading spell in between levels.
Only 4,000 copies will be available to buy and will go on sale January 28th at 6PM GMT. Project Warlock will also be priced at approx £27 (excluding tax and shipping) and will be available worldwide via superraregames.com
