Comic Book Review - Snow Angels #3

Rob reviews Snow Angels #3... Don't shoot me! Yes, I may have missed out on reviewing Snow Angels #2 . No excuses really, I just plainly forgot! I really need to invest in a diary.  Anyway, apologies aside. I'm back with a look at Snow Angels #3 ... Jeff Lemire and Jock's Snow Angels has been a fantastic series so far. While we're only three issues in, it's been a great mystery that's delivering some fantastic tension within its bleak, snow covered world.  The story so far has followed a Father and his two Daughters who survive this harsh world in the embrace of a vast spanning trench. In the opening issue their settlement was attacked by a mysterious character called the Snowman. Issue 2, then picks up with the family struggling to outrun not just the Snowman, but also the other horrors that lurk in the trench. This time around Snow Angels #3 sees Lemire and Jock deal directly with the Snowman whilst opening up more of the mystery of ...

Comic Book Review - Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #1

Rob reviews Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #1... Fortnite, the hit battle royale video game is no stranger when it comes to tie-ins. We've seen various appearances from video game characters, to pretty much everyone from the  Marvel Universe grace the Fortnite island over the last couple of years.   Taking inspiration from last years Fortnite x Marvel: Nexus War -Thor, it's now Batman's turn to leave the Battle Bus.  Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point is the latest cross media-crossover, that not only adds an attempt at a decent story but also adds timed-exclusive cosmetic items to the game too.  When you consider that the previous Fortnite  season featured a story that heavily involved the 'Zero Point' and its mysterious powers have this crossover event appeared a season out of place? The story kicks off in Gotham City as a mysterious rift opens in the skies above the city. Batman, in his attempts to close the rift accidentally falls into it...
