Rob checks out Destiny's Sword on PC... When it comes to mental health, for many the subject can be a tough bridge to cross. While some of us find it easy to talk about our mental health, others may not even realize that they see living with poor mental health, or just say "things will get better". In video games, the subject is also one that's not ventured into by many developers. Sure Mass Effect delved into Commander Shepherd's PTS, it was Ninja Theory who captured mental health perfectly with their hit Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.  Another title aiming to build upon the stigma of mental health - and to get us talking to each other - is Destiny's Sword by 2Dogs Games . It's an ambitious project that aims to tell a gritty and hard-hitting sci-fi tale that also grounds itself in reality. As you venture through the narrative (that's been written by author M.D. Cooper ), the men and women you meet each have their emotional stability....

Rob reviews The Witcher: The Ballard of Two Wolves #1... When it comes to the worlds of The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 , no one knows them better than CD Project Red's Bartosz Sztybor. Across his narrative journeys,  Sztybor brings his unique take on the characters - and their worlds - but remains grounded in what's come before. As they get acquainted with their surroundings, the duo soon falls into the companionship of a local girl named Red. It's through Red that Grimmwald's history is explained, and the town's troubles all seem to stem from the wealthy Hogge siste...

Roughly 5 minutes into the game Avril is called upon by a couple of good cosmic entities to become the Guardian of Balance, a powerful being that'll eventually right all the wrongs in the universe - and restore planet Earth. While Batora: Lost Haven seems to be steeped within its story, due to the pace of the gameplay - it becomes a little lost in translation. However, it's still a fun game even if its protagonists are a little annoying. As hero characters go, Avril is a slightly dumbed-down version of Marvel's Deadpool. She's cocky, often arrogant, and isn't afraid of a little backchat with her best friend - and fellow survivor - Mia. The "banter" b...
