Much like the main series - The High Republic - Trail of Shadows is filled with deep characterization and a very intriguing plot.  This 5-part series follows on from the events portrayed within The Rising Storm novel, and follows two new - and very different characters to what we've seen before.   During the battle of Grizal, Jedi Master Loden Greatstorm seemingly turns to dust in front of his fellow Jedi. Stellan Gios is witness to this and recruits fellow Jedi, Emerick Caphtor to investigate. While Caphtor's initial investigation leads to a dead-end, Gios is haunted by a nursery rhyme from his youth which could be the key to unlocking the mystery. Meanwhile in the bowels of Coruscant Sian Holt stumbles into her mystery. She's on the trail of her partner Keefer Branto who's meeting one of Coruscant's...

Alice In Leatherland is a 5-part mini-series that follows fairy tale writer Alice as she takes a giant leap out of her comfort zone to start life afresh in San Francisco. It's a bawdy LGBTQ+ comedy that's full of heartfelt moments, great writing, and some truly stunning artwork.  Alice In Leatherland is the creation of real-life couple Iolanda Zanfardino and Elisa Romboli , who both created this tale during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. If anything the pandemic has produced some impressive stories that wouldn't necessarily have seen the light of day - if we weren't all stuck inside. Anyway, the story follows fairy-tale writer, Alice as she deals with sudden heartache to venture on a journey of self-discovery - whilst attempting to write her story. Zanfardino does a great job in pulling you into Alice's world that comes to the ending to the opening issue you're fully invested in the character's journey...
